Tops
Corporate T-shirts are crew- or V-neck tops printed or embroidered with your branding, used for staff uniforms, events, campaigns, volunteers and merchandise. You can choose fabric, weight, colour, fit and print method. To order, request a quote with quantity, sizes, colours and artwork.
Overview
T-shirts are the most flexible branded garment: quick to produce in large numbers, easy to print with bold artwork, and comfortable for active roles. In the UAE they are widely used for warehouse and logistics staff, cleaning and maintenance teams, school and sports events, product launches, marathons, volunteer programmes and internal campaigns.
Fabric weight drives both feel and perceived quality. Lighter 150–160 GSM T-shirts are cool and economical for one-day events, while 180–220 GSM cotton feels more substantial and survives repeated washing as a daily uniform. For outdoor work and sports, quick-dry polyester keeps staff more comfortable in heat and humidity, and opens up full-colour sublimation on light colours.
The print method should follow the artwork and quantity. Screen printing suits larger runs of simple designs, DTF handles full-colour logos and small batches, and embroidery gives a more formal finish for staff uniforms. If you need names or numbers on individual shirts, mention it in your brief so it can be planned and confirmed in the quotation.
Specifications
Typical construction options for this garment. The exact specification is agreed and recorded in your quotation.
Fabrics
Common fabric options and where each works best. Compare fibres and weights in the fabric guide.
100% cotton
160–220 GSM
Best for: Daily staff uniforms and premium merchandise
Soft and breathable. Heavier weights resist twisting and see-through; pre-shrunk fabric reduces size changes after washing.
Typically 50/50 or 65/35 polyester/cotton
150–190 GSM
Best for: Frequently laundered uniforms and mixed-use staff wear
Less shrinkage and wrinkling than pure cotton; check print method with your supplier as polyester content affects some inks.
100% polyester (interlock, mesh or birdseye)
130–170 GSM
Best for: Outdoor staff, sports events and runs
Wicks moisture and dries quickly in UAE heat. Suits sublimation on white and light colours. Low-temperature inks are needed to avoid dye migration.
Polyester, cotton and viscose/rayon blend
140–170 GSM
Best for: Fashion-led merchandise and creative teams
Very soft drape with a vintage look; colour and print results vary, so request a sample.
| Weight | Typical use | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 130–150 GSM | One-day events, giveaways, running events | Light and economical; may be slightly sheer in light colours. |
| 160–180 GSM | Everyday staff T-shirts | Good balance of comfort, opacity and cost for UAE conditions. |
| 190–220 GSM | Premium uniforms and retail-quality merchandise | More durable and structured; warmer in direct sun. |
Customisation
Each method suits different fabrics, logos and quantities. We confirm the method, size and position with a mock-up before production.
Availability of each method for your garment and quantity is confirmed on your quotation.
Efficient for larger runs of designs with a limited number of solid colours. Setup per colour makes very small runs less economical.
Suited to full-colour artwork, small batches and personalised names on cotton, blends and polyester.
All-over or full-colour designs on white or light polyester only. Not for cotton or dark garments.
Suits small chest logos on heavier cotton T-shirts. Lightweight jersey may need backing to avoid puckering.
Printed or woven neck labels for merchandise or private-label programmes.
Sizing & ordering
Size ranges, colours, minimum quantities, prices and timelines depend on the garment, fabric and branding you choose. They are confirmed in writing on your quotation rather than estimated here.
Sizing differs between garment ranges, so the measured size chart for the exact garment quoted is supplied with your quotation. Collect staff measurements at these points, then compare them with that chart.
Fabric care
Care that keeps colour, shape and branding looking right through repeated washing.
General guidance only. Always follow the care label on the supplied garment.
Buying advice
Event T-shirts worn once can use lighter fabric. Shirts worn and washed weekly as a uniform justify a heavier weight and a more durable print method.
Supplying logos as vector files (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF) avoids redraw charges and gives sharper results. Specify Pantone references if colour matching matters.
A print that fits an XXL may look oversized on an S. Ask whether print size is scaled across size groups and approve a proof showing placement.
Events cannot move, so share your date at the start. Production time depends on artwork approval and quantity and is confirmed in your quotation.
| Method | Artwork | Quantity fit | Feel | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Screen printing | Solid spot colours | Medium to large runs | Ink layer on surface | Setup per colour; durable when cured correctly |
| DTF printing | Full colour, gradients, photos | Small to medium runs, personalisation | Thin flexible film | Works on most fabric types |
| Sublimation | Full colour, all-over | Any run size | No feel, dye in fibre | White or light polyester only |
| Embroidery | Simple logos, text | Any run size | Raised stitching | Smart finish; avoid on very light jersey |
FAQ
For daily staff wear, 160–200 GSM cotton or poly-cotton is a common range. Lighter shirts suit events; heavier shirts feel more premium but are warmer outdoors.
Personalisation is usually done with DTF or vinyl transfers. Feasibility and cost depend on quantity and are confirmed in your quotation.
Polyester or polyester-rich blends dry faster and are generally more comfortable for active outdoor use. Cotton is softer and suits indoor or evening events. See cotton vs polyester vs blended fabrics.
Price depends on fabric, weight, quantity, number of print colours and print positions. Pricing is confirmed in your quotation once these details are known.
